In 1972, after doing my GCE exams, I started an accountant's course at the university of Malta. After 3 years, due to lack of lecturers and resources, I had to give up on this course. In 1975, I joined the Malta post office department and stayed on the job for 42 years in various roles. In 2018 I retired from work. In 2020, I but started working, on a part-time basis, with the Gozo Curia. I have been married since 1984 and have 3 daughters and 8 grand-children.

From a tender age, I studied music and achieved a diploma in piano-accordion playing in 1972. I also play the clarinet with the local bands, sing as a tenor with various choirs and play folk music with a local folk group.

My brother, Alfred used to live in Stockton California but unfortunately, he passed away in 2019. He was a well-known singer and issued three CDs with his songs (and a few of mine too). on 21 May 2024.
